Tom Sandoval – Biography, Scandoval, and Band in 2025
Tom Sandoval, born Thomas Anthony Sandoval in St. Louis, Missouri, is an American reality television personality, musician, restaurateur, and actor. He rose to prominence as an original cast member of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules in 2013, but his public image was dramatically reshaped by the 2023 “Scandoval” affair – a secret relationship with co-star Raquel Leviss while he was in a long‑term partnership with Ariana Madix. In 2025, Sandoval remains a fixture in entertainment news, balancing his music career with his band Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, ongoing restaurant ventures, and a new relationship that has also brought legal scrutiny.
Sources list Sandoval’s birth date as July 7, but there is disagreement on the year: some records show 1983 while others cite 1982. Most current entertainment profiles use 1983. He grew up in the St. Louis area before moving into modeling, acting, and bartending – a path that eventually led him to the cast of Vanderpump Rules.
Beyond reality TV, Sandoval has appeared in indie films such as Playing with Fire, Alien Presence, and The Pit and the Pendulum. He co‑founded the restaurant TomTom alongside Tom Schwartz, Lisa Vanderpump, and Ken Todd in 2018, and later co‑owned Schwartz & Sandy’s. He also co‑authored the cocktail book Fancy AF Cocktails.
